Going back to my roots!

Well kind of! Having dyed my hair for so many year I'm not 100% sure what my natural colour actually is.

So after being pinky/blonde for a few weeks I decided it was time for a change and went back to Red. I used Live Colour XL in Hypnotic Red (37). Its a really good texture, not too runny, and goes on well.
As you can see the red is pretty vibrant, I think this is because I put it straight onto blonde but it is really a lovely colour and would highly recommend it. Really good for a home colourant.

p.s. This colour may not even last! Having turned up to work this morning and see a couple of other people deciding to go red over the weekend, I may be doing another hair colour post again very soon!

Can anyone lend me a few thousand pounds????

THE iconic lace gown Audrey Hepburn wore when she collected her Best Actress Oscar for Roman Holiday is up for auction. The piece was adapted from a version designed by Edith Head that the actress wore in the last scene of the film in 1952. Prices are estimated between £40,000 to £60,000.

Known by the star as her "lucky dress", the ivory full-skirted look was given to Hepburn's mother, Ella van Heemstra, who in turn gave it to a friend living in America. The dress has since been stored away in a box at the bottom of a wardrobe, until the family decided to sell it.

"This beautiful lace dress is important because not only was it worn in the film Roman Holiday but was also worn to collect the Oscar itself," said the auction house's founder Kerry Taylor. "It is the only time in the history of Oscar dresses that this ever happened to my knowldege. The demure white gown seems also sculpted to fit the willowy graceful figure of Audrey. The original dress was designed by Edith Head for the film, but for the Oscar night - Audrey altered the bodice - in essence she Givenchy-fied it!"
The auction will take place on Tuesday November 29 at 2pm, La Galleria, 30 Royal Opera Arcade, Pall Mall, London.

How amazing would it be to own this dress??

These are a few of my favorite things......

Here are a few of my favorite looks from this week.

I love people watching and most of my outfit ideas etc are from doing exactly this. Whether it be from celeb style or street style, I just find it all so interesting.

Makes me wanna blow her candles out...

On Wednesday we went to see Arctic Monkeys in Manchester. Loved every minute of it. I had the day off so went into Manchester early, had a look around the shops, had some nice food a drink and then got to see Mr Turner (I do have a massive soft sport for him!)
As usual they were bloody brilliant, it was a really good atmoshpere and done a good mix of new and old. I didn't want it to end (especially as I had a midnight train back to Sheffield to look forward to)

Cover Girls

I am absolutely in Love with this Elle cover for December with Michelle Williams, she looks absolutely stunning. Love it. Its also very nice to finally see someone use a picture of the beautiful Adele and show more then just the neck upwards! She is beautiful and proud of who she is and I believe this should be celebrated. Well done Cosmo!
