My Woman of the Month- Leith Clark

Every month I wil pay homage to woman I admire. This month is Leith Clark.

"I like dresses that look like cakes"

Who doesnt?

Wearer of some of the most amazing dresses, super stylist and editor of one of the most beautifully put together magazines around Leith Clark is definately someone I look upto and admire.

She also kick started my current obsession with Orla Keily after styling their recent LFW presentation.

Some of Leith's amazing styling work:

Mood Board

Do you ever go to bed at night with a fab outfit idea in your head? Only to then wake up late with 20 minutes to get ready and all those wonderful, inspired ideas go out the window.

This is what happens to be on pretty much a daily basis. So Ive decided to start a little mood board on my bedroom wall to give my inspiration on cold winters mornings at 6am!

I thought I'd share with you a few pictures that will be featuring....

You will notice dresses feature quite heavily here! I'm really am a dress girl, Ive tried the jeans and trousers look but I just don't think I have the right shape legs for them (thanks for the short legs Dad!)

Lets see if the mood board idea works. I'll keep you informed.

The Oscars - Best Dressed.

Dress of the night for me was Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta

 Ginnifer Goodwin

Jennifer Lawrence looking stunning Dior Haute Couture

 Kate Bosworth

Sally Field in an amazing Valentino gown. Stunning

Solange Knowles

Im no film fan so the only thing I really get excited about it the dresses.

Amy Adams looked absolutely stunning in her Oscar de la Renta gown, I think if your going to an event like the Oscars you should go all out like she has. When else are you ever going to get the opportunity to wear an amazing dress like this?

Sally Field was also one of my real favorites. I have a real thing for red dresses and loved the classic beauty of this dress.

H&M Red Carpet Conscious Collection

Everyone can remember when the very lovely Michelle Williams rocked the red carpet in her H&M dress and now that collection has hit stores and will certainly give H&M another hit on their hands.

From beautiful floral printed dresses to floor length, wedding worthy, knock out dresses. The cream long length ruffled dress above is one of my favourites (I just need an excuse to wear it!) And while your wowing everyone in your beautiful gowns you can feel good about yourself to because these are all part of H&M's new Eco range and made out of recycled cotton, hemp and recycled polyester.

Going green has never looked so good!

Wedding outfits dilema....

Zara: Will I ever wear it again?
Topshop: Too much like a wedding dress?

ASOS: I like this one

ASOS: Id be able to wear this again and both as separates

ASOS: Too casual?

So, I have a wedding to attend in 2 weeks and I'm stuck on what to wear. Help!

I always go for dresses so was maybe thinking of a trouser suit, but will the many trouser suits that are about at the moment which one do I choose? and will everyone be wearing florals? and do I spend loads of money on a pretty dress that will most likely sit in my wardrobe never to be worn again?

Ive literally no idea!
