Kate Moss for Topshop

Shes done it again. Kate Moss has managed to come up with another amazing collection for Topshop, making me want every single piece and possibly make me bankrupt at the same time.
The collection hits stores and the website today with bits already selling out on line.

There is a real floaty, romantic feel to the collection. Perfect for summer (if we get one this year)

Pearl Lowe for Peacocks

Peacocks, the cheap-chic value fashion retailer, is poised for a rock ‘n’ rolling high summer, with its newest collection by the singer-songwriter turned designer, Pearl Lowe.

The new range, which follows Pearl Lowe’s successful debut collection of party dresses for Peacocks last season, includes a full selection of accessories, T-shirts, cardigans, day-dresses and party-wear, with prices starting from £14.

The must-haves, however, will surely be Lowe’s vintage-look tea-dresses, priced between £30 and £40.

“I’m delighted to be moving away from dressing for special occasions to lovely things for everyday, but with a few special party dresses thrown in,” Pearl Lowe said.
“My inspiration takes in riverside summer picnics, croquet on the lawn and long fun-filled summer days. Everyone knows my love of vintage and I haven’t let down my fellow lovers of dresses inspired by days gone by with some fabulous summer tea dresses.”

The range hits stores and the website today.

Hopefully Daisy will following in her mums footsteps and design her own range?

Weekend in London

Had such a lovely couple of days in London. I miss it so much so love going back to visit. There is always so much to do so we couldn't fit it all in but we did get to see some amazing exhibitions at the V&A and get to see The National at The Royal Albert Hall, its very rare a band can reduce me to tears but they were just so amazing they managed exactly that. Well played!

Pierre Hardy for Gap’s Hot Sandals

Pierre Hardy is back with another shoe collection for Gap and they could not be more amazing. Sky high and elegant wedges in nude, floral and denim or for those of you that would rather not risk a broken ankle this summer there is one pair of flat denim espadrilles. These will have you rushing to Gap stores or Gap.com or dare I say ebay?

Topshop Make Up

A massive want! Very excited for today's launch of the new Topshop make up range.

Lizzie Dawson and her design team have done an amazing job I think producing a line of must have basics and then will have a new line each season, which no doubt knowing Topshop will be very fashion forward and inspired by catwalk looks. The price range is very reasonable with nail varnishes at £5, lipsticks at £8 and nothing over a tenner..

I'll absolutely be paying Topshop a visit on my London trip this weekend. I want a nail varnish in every colour. Please!

2010 MET Costume Institute Gala : The American Woman

"DRESS YOU UP: Gap, which is sponsoring the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” exhibit, will be dressing quite a number of celebrities at Monday night’s kick-off Costume Institute benefit. The chain and its executive vice president of global design, Patrick Robinson, collaborated with several young designers to create eveningwear for the occasion. M.I.A. and ZoĆ« Kravitz are stated to come to the Met in Alexander Wang for Gap; Kirsten Dunst and Jamie Bochert will wear Rodarte for Gap; Kerry Washington and Riley Keough will sport Thakoon for Gap, and Sophie Theallet for Gap will be worn by Jessica Alba and Vera Farmiga. Gap is offering the eight dresses in a silent auction at gap.com/gownauction from May 4 to 31 with proceeds benefiting the Costume Institute. Two days after the party, Gap will start showcasing the dresses at its pop-up store at 680 Fifth Avenue. The shop will also offer special Gap T-shirts inspired by the themes in the Costume Institute exhibit."

I find it a bit strange that Gap, known for their casuals and basics look, were dressing many celebrities for the Met Ball. But who cares, it gives us plenty of opportunity to admire some amazing dresses that I could only ever dream of being able to wear

American Apparels New Look

Ive never been a massive fan of American Apparel personally, its always been a bit too 80's and gold Lycra for me but their new stuff certainly looks promising. No signs of Lycra and the more preppy look I go for. I'll certainly be buying more then just socks from there from now on.
